La Quinta by Wyndham to open in San Francisco de Macorís in June 2026

 San Francisco de Macorís.- Construction of the La Quinta by Wyndham hotel in San Francisco de Macorís is advancing on schedule and set to open in June 2026, according to Edward De Valle II, CEO of Grupo De Valle. The 92-room, six-story hotel, built with an investment of US$5.17 million, is expected to transform tourism and hospitality in the northeast region of the Dominican Republic. De Valle highlighted that the project adheres to all of Wyndham’s international standards and has already generated over 400 direct and indirect jobs during its construction phase.

Developed in partnership with Hoteles Roco del Nordeste, the “Condo Hotel La Quinta by Wyndham” combines the sophistication of a luxury hotel with the comfort of condominium living. Located on President Antonio Guzmán Fernández Avenue, the property will offer high-end amenities including a pool, Cigar Club, Lounge, and an exclusive rooftop restaurant, along with co-working spaces, a gym, paddle tennis court, and golf course access.

Designed to integrate modernity, luxury, and sustainability, the project aims to boost tourism and local development in Duarte province. De Valle emphasized that the new hotel will “raise the standard of living and strengthen the sense of community,” positioning San Francisco de Macorís as an emerging destination for both business and leisure travelers.
