Govt. inaugurates 139km of roads in South region
Santo Domingo.- Public Works minister Gonzalo Castillo headed ribbon cutting Wednesday for three rebuilt highways and an avenue in the South region, with a total of 139 kilometers.
The roads include the 49-kilometer Bani-Azua span and the Pizarrete-Las Barías roads; Villa Sobrero-Matanzas, and Fabio Herrera Cabral Av., in Peravia province.
In his keynote speech Castillo said the four works form part of the government’s road rehabilitation and reconstruction program, adding that the project created hundreds of direct and indirect jobs.
