Market, human trafficking back to normal at border town
Santiago.- Business activities and the trafficking of humans at the northwest border town of Dajabón returned to normal on Monday, including the bi-national market.
Nonetheless some tension emerged with the detention of a truck driver in the town of Ouanaminthe, where a Haitian woman died in a traffic accident.
The driver however claimed that his truck’s tires were stained when they passed over the victim’s blood.
The incident all didn’t alter the market’s activities or vehicle traffic, although Dominicans didn’t cross into Haiti.
