CEPM denies responsibility for power outage at RIU República

Punta Cana.- The Punta Cana-Macao Energy Consortium (CEPM) clarified that the recent power outage at the RIU República hotel from March 5 to March 6 was not linked to its energy supply.
In a statement, CEPM explained that the issue stemmed from an internal problem within the hotel, unrelated to its distribution network. The company is working with hotel management, offering technical support to determine the cause of the failure.
CEPM reaffirmed its long-standing partnership with RIU Hotels & Resorts, emphasizing the chain’s commitment to quality standards. The company also expressed solidarity with the hotel, its guests, and staff affected by the incident.
