BiggerGovernment launches major operation in Friusa and Mata Mosquito
Bávaro.- Early Friday morning, Dominican immigration authorities conducted a major operation in the Hoyo de Friusa and Mata Mosquito areas of Punta Cana. The operation, led by Vice Admiral Luis Rafael Lee Ballester, Director General of Migration, was carried out in coordination with the National Army and Ciutran, involving over 100 personnel.
So far, 236 undocumented immigrants have been detained, and the operation remains ongoing in the Friusa area, according to official immigration reports.
