Trade spurs Medina’s official visit to Puerto Rico on Tues.

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina will travel on official visit to Puerto Rico next Tuesday to meet with its governor Alejandro García Padilla, the National Palace confirmed Wednesday.

Medina and Garcia will sign several cooperation agreements aimed at bolstering the launch of the two countries’ bilateral agenda, formulated after the latter’s visit to Dominican Republic in September, 2014.

Since that first meeting, the two leaders pledged to give new thrust to cooperation between their governments’ joint efforts to promote unprecedented development of the economy and trade.
