Dominican Govt., Parlacen sign agreement to promote integration

Santo Domingo.– The Dominican Presidency and the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN) signed an agreement aimed at institutionalizing broad and diverse projects and initiatives on regional integration.

The agreement, which is part of the Central American Integration System, looks for mutual cooperation for the implementation of activities and projects. The cooperation will be aimed at developing and implementing programs on exchange of information and analysis, specialized and academic studies and consultants, among other areas.

The agreement was signed at the National Palace by Miguel Mejia, vice minister for Regional Integration, and Parlacen president Armando Bardales.
