Gasoline, diesel prices climb a 2nd straight week, gases unchanged

Santo Domingo.- For the second straight week gasoline and diesel prices will increase, while other fuels remain unchanged.

for the week from March 14 to 20 premium gasoline will cost RD$213.00 for an increase of RD$4.00 and regular will sell for RD$188.60, an increase of RD$3.00 per gallon.

Premium diesel will cost RD$170.50, regular diesel will cost RD$162.40, both RD$1.10 higher; optimum diesel will cost RD$179.90 a RD$1.10 jump, and avtur will still cost RD$115.60 per gallon.

Kerosene continues at RD$146.90; fuel oil will still cost RD$97.08. propane gas will still cost RD$89.70 per gallon and natural gas also remains unchanged at RD$31.44 per cubic meter.

The Central Bank’s average posted exchange rate of RD$44.83 per dollar was used to calculate fuel prices.
