Medina, St. Maarten Governor meet in the Palace

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina met with St. Marteen governor Eugene Holiday in the National Palace Tuesday to discuss various topics of common interest to the two nations.
In a statement released the Presidency called the meeting a courtesy visit in to “review the harmonious bilateral relations between the two countries.”
Netherlands envoy to Dominican Republic Marijke Van Drunen Littel A.; St. Maarten cabinet director André Hoeneveld and embassy commercial attaché Rainier Davina accompanied Holiday, who was appointed the island nation’s first governor by the Netherlands Kingdom Council Ministers in September 2010.
