US Embassy to resume services after mechanical glitch

Santo Domingo.- The US Embassy in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday announced it will resume its services and consular appointments normally, after closing during two days reportedly on problems with its internal mechanical system.

"On Wednesday July 8 (today), the US Embassy in Santo Domingo returns to normal operation," the diplomatic mission tweeted yesterday.

The announcement came Tuesday night.
