Las Americas Airport to hold crash drill Tuesday morning

Santo Domingo.-Dominican airports management contractor Aerodom will hold crash drill from 9amto 11:30am on Tuesday at the Las Americas International Airport (AILA).

it said sirens willbe heard accompanied by movements of ambulances and fire trucks near Las AmericasAirport.

Aerodom said the exercisemeets the international standards and methods set by the International CivilAviation Organization (ICAO) and the Dominican Civil Aviation Institute (IDAC) proceduresand gauge response to an actual airport emergency.
