Power outages halt Santo Domingo Metro twice in two weeks

Santo Domingo.- The SantoDomingo Metro´s Line 2 was halted on Monday with glitches for the second timein as many weeks, with no incidents reported.

It´s also the thirdtime the subway system umndergoes technical failures in recent weeks, while thesecond time was from overloaded transformers.

According tocommuters the cars stopped due to a power failure, affecting the stations from Ortegay Gasset and Kennedy avenues to the Sanchez bridge (La 17).
