Gasoline falls a 4th straight week, gases unchanged

Santo Domingo.- Forthe fourth straight week the Industry and Commerce Ministry posted lower priceson gasoline, while other major fuels remain unchanged.

For the week fromSept. 19 to 25 premium gasoline will cost RD$190.60 and regular RD$173.00, bothRD$2.10 less; premium diesel will cost RD$150.00 and regular diesel RD$142.40,wor RD$2.20 less on both, while optimal diesel will cost RD$161.40, or RD$1.30less per gallon.

Avtur will cost RD$99.40,or RD$1.70 less; kerosene will cost RD$123.00, or RD$1.80 less, while fuel oilwill cost RD$77.31, or RD$1.66 lower per gallon.

Propane gas remainsunchanged at RD$80.80 per gallon while naturalgas is also unchanged at RD$28.44 per cubic meter.

The Central Bank´sposted average exchange rate of RD$45.21 per dollar was used to calculate allfuel prices.
