US envoy, Dominican mogul attend Entrepreneurs Fair

Santo Domingo.- Vice president Margarita Cedeño, USambassador James Brewster and mogul Jose Luis (Pepin) Corripio, accompanied by hundredsof young adults on Thursday attended the inaugural of the third annual EntrepreneursFair Dominican Republic.
The event served toshowcase the products and projects of over 50 innovators in small business, atthe show held at Acropolis Center. The fair also provides free legal and counselingfor the youngsters to market their business ideas.
Fair founder and deputyDavid Collado said he was satisfied with the event, noting that it serves as aspringboard for young people who strive to make a difference by contributing innovationsfor their wellbeing and the good of the country.
The business leader saidthe Pepin Corripio Dominican Entrepreneur Award will be announced Friday for thethree best projects participating in the fair, when the winners will receive a firstplace prize of RD$300,000; RD$250,000 second, and RD$200,000 third.
