Motorists: Detours at eastern highway today, Friday

Santo Domingo.- The PublicWorks Ministry will partly close a span of the Las Americas Highway at the Andres,Boca Chica entrance from 11:30pm Thursday to 5am Friday.

It said it will closethe road in both directions to install the main beams of a new footbridge.

In a statement PublicWorks said vehicles traveling from Santo Domingo to the East region will bedetoured to the side road south of Las Americas, while those traveling east towest will do so on W Street, in Andres.
