Medina off to Ecuador for regional summit

Santo Domingo.- PresidentDanilo Medina will travel to Quito, Ecuador, Tuesday to participate in the 4thSummit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) set forWednesday.

Medina, who is slatedto fly on a private flight from San Isidro Airbase to Quito Tuesday afternoon,will be accompanied by delegation headed by Foreign Affairs minister AndresNavarro.

During the conclave Ecuadorianleader Rafael Correa will hand over to Medina the revolving presidency of the CELAC,an economic bloc formed by 33 nations in the region.
