Biggest power company issues US$370.0M in notes: Analyica

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s biggest power company onTuesday issued US$370.0 million (around RD$17.0 billion) in notes abroad at a 7.95%rate payable semi-annually, redeemable in 2026, according to the consulting firmAnalytica.

The transaction by AES Dominicana was carried out throughits two companies: AES Andres B.V. and Dominican Power Partners (US$ 270.1 million)and the Empresa Generadora de Electricidad ITABO (US$99.9 million).

The notes were sold in the United States only to qualifiedinstitutional buyers based on Norm 144A, and under the Securities Act outsidethe United States.
