Dominican Republic looks to boost exports at China import fair
Santo Domingo.– Dominican Republic Export and Investment Center, CEIRD, director Marius De León again participates in China’s 2nd International Import Expo (CIIE) 2019 which takes place from November 5 to 10 in Shanghai.
He said the official participation allows the creation of an international cooperation platform that promotes economic globalization through exports.
“Our participation in this second CIIE 2019, allows the creation of an international cooperation platform that drives economic globalization through exports to the Asian giant,” De León said.
“For this year 2019 the mission that is carried out from the CEIRD aims to strengthen the entry of Dominican products to the market of the People’s Republic of China and provide opportunities to increase commercial interaction between both countries,” the official said in a statement.
“At the product level, they have been shortlisted to promote within the framework of this event: Cigar, Rum, Cocoa, Chocolate, Coffee and Larimar, without discarding other products with similar value and exportable potential.”
