Magnitude 3.3 tremor shakes the east

Santo Domingo.- A magnitude 3.3 quake was recorded in the country’s east region at 5:53 GMT, at a depth of 99 kilometers on Friday.

The US Geodetic Survey said the tremor occurred southeast of Punta Cana, and 83km (52mi) SE of Higuey, with coordinates of15 18.157°N 68.083°W.
