Mejia is determined to defeat aspirations of Fernandez, PLD

Santo Domingo.– Former President Hipolito Mejia is determined to actively participate with all his strength and energy to work for the unity of the political opposition in the Dominican Republic, both in politics and in the social field, El Nuevo Diario reported today.

According to the report, Hipolito Mejia will spend all the time necessary for that purpose and make La Convergencia the ideal instrument that society demands to defeat the continuity aspirations of Leonel Fernandez and the PLD.
