Tropical wave brings showers, especially the NE

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (ONAMET) forecast moderate downpours with thunderstorms over some regions, from a trough near the Central Caribbean.

ONAMET said it continues its alert for flash flooding and landslides, as well as swelled rivers and streams for provinces of the northeast, especially the Yuna river lower basin.

Temperatures will range from a high of 33C degrees to a low of 23C.

It adds that the rains will continue Saturday, as the air will remain unstable after the tropical wave.
