Pope names new envoy to Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo.- Pope Francis on Thurs. announced the Vatican’s new envoy for Dominican Republic, Monsignor Ghaleb Bader, who’ll replace Jude Thaddeus Okolo.

He was Apostolic Nuncio to Pakistan and titular Archbishop of Mathara in Numidia.

Bader will also be the apostolic delegate to Puerto Rico.
