Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (ONAMET) discontinued the hurricane and tropical storm warnings Thursday night, as Hurricane Irma tracks westward at 26 kph, away from Hispaniola.

On Friday, Onamet said Irma is located near Grand Inagua, the Bahamas.

It said the flash flood warnings continue for most provinces, and forecasts continuing downpours for most regions.
