Santo Domingo Metro user throws himself onto the tracks at the María Montez station

A man threw himself onto the tracks of the Santo Domingo Metro at the María Montez station. The individual ran down the tracks towards the Pedro Francisco Bonó station, located on Avenida Núñez de Cáceres.

This caused the María Montez station of the Santo Domingo Metro, at kilometer 9 of the Duarte highway, to be paralyzed, according to a user report to Listín Diario.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was detained by security members who were at the train stop. After the arrest, operations returned to normal.
