To the rhythm of drums, dances, lots of lights… This is Villa Navidad!

Santo Domingo—On Saturday night, Villa Navidad took place to the rhythm of drums orchestrated by a brass band, accompanied by dancing, joy, and the contagious smiles of “elves,” “elves,” “walking pintos,” and “rag dolls.”

From the entrance of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, where it is celebrated, the characteristic Christmas carols and lights give life to the festive season.

Each place in Villa Navidad alludes to places and figures typical of the season. El Túnel de la Nieve and La Casa Villa Navidad are some of the most acclaimed places, with long lines at the entrance.

Emergency services such as 911 and the National Police, in addition to a security team, are present at the place so that visitors are in a calm and protected environment.

Some parents described the event as “a welcoming and safe place,” which started this Saturday, November 30, and will continue until January 6, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
