ASDN unveils Metro column murals and lights up Hermanas Mirabal Avenue

Santo Domingo.- The Santo Domingo Norte Mayor’s Office (ASDN), led by Mayor Betty Gerónimo, inaugurated vibrant murals on the columns of the Santo Domingo Metro in a project spanning from the Hermanas Mirabal station to Buena Vista. These murals celebrate iconic figures of the municipality, including founding fathers and political leaders like José Francisco Peña Gómez, while beautifying the previously plain grey columns of the transit structure.

As part of the event, ASDN also illuminated Christmas decorations along Hermanas Mirabal Avenue, including lights for the tree and festive displays in Máximo Gómez Park near the town hall entrance.

This initiative aligns with the mayor’s efforts to enhance community well-being and spread joy during the holiday season, adding cultural and festive value to the municipality’s public spaces.
