Rainy Christmas Eve expected in the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo.- Weather analyst Jean Suriel warned that the Dominican Republic could experience rain over the next six days due to a trough and the proximity of cold front number 10. Suriel noted that precipitation is expected even on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) also forecast rain over the next 24 to 48 hours, driven by a prefrontal trough, wind, and daytime warming. Cloudy conditions will increase, with rain of varying intensity and frequency, thunderstorms, and gusty winds, starting along the Caribbean coast in the morning and spreading inland by midday.
