Abinader at the Border: “I feel very proud of the Armed Forces”

Dajabón, DR.- President Luis Abinader expressed pride in the Dominican Republic’s Armed Forces during a Christmas lunch with military personnel in Dajabón. He thanked the troops for their dedication to protecting the nation’s border throughout the year, highlighting their vital role in the country’s progress and expressing optimism for continued advancement in 2025.

Abinader emphasized his commitment to improving the welfare of military personnel and their families, from the lowest-ranking guards to the highest officers. On behalf of the entire Dominican people, he extended gratitude for their service in defending national sovereignty.

The president also acknowledged that while families celebrate Christmas Eve, the military will continue their watch over the nation, ensuring security and protecting the border.
