Edmundo González announces hopeful news for Venezuela from Santo Domingo

Santo Domingo.- Venezuelan opposition leader Edmundo González Urrutia captivated hundreds of compatriots gathered at Plaza Juan Varón in Eugenio María de Hostos Park, Santo Domingo, with a promise of uplifting news. He hinted at an announcement later in the day that “will fill all of Venezuela with joy.”

In an impassioned speech, González reaffirmed his dedication to restoring democracy and freedom in Venezuela. “Long live a free Venezuela! Long live the democratic Venezuela that we will soon recover!” he declared to an enthusiastic crowd. He highlighted the critical role of unity among Venezuelans abroad, commending their resilience and sacrifices as they seek refuge far from home.

“We know the desire for a free Venezuela burns in your hearts,” González said, blending cultural pride with optimism. “With the same passion of the llanero soul and the rhythm of merengue, we will achieve our victory.” He also emphasized the importance of international support and the diaspora’s contributions to the country’s democratic revival.

González’s remarks have raised anticipation among his supporters, who view the upcoming announcement as a potential milestone in Venezuela’s journey toward freedom and national renewal.
