Indomet: Clear skies and low cloud cover for this Sunday

Santo Domingo/National Territory — The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) predicts pleasant to cool temperatures for this Sunday, especially in mountain areas. There may be fog or night and morning fog.
A high-pressure system that will dominate the meteorological panorama, providing appropriate conditions for outdoor activities.

Much of the country will have little cloud cover in the morning. In the afternoon and at night, the different regions of the Dominican Republic will enjoy a mostly clear environment, and the little rainfall that may occur will be weak and isolated primarily to mountain areas.

Operators of fragile, small, and medium-sized vessels traveling from Cabo San Rafael (La Altagracia) to Punta Mangles (El Seibo) are advised to remain in port due to abnormal wind and wave conditions.
On the rest of the Atlantic coast, it is suggested to navigate with caution near the coastal perimeter and avoid venturing out to sea.

These conditions are expected to improve as of this afternoon.
The minimum temperature in Greater Santo Domingo will range between 19 °C and 21 °C and the maximum between 29 °C and 31 °C.
