President Abinader declares three days of national mourning for Jet Set tragedy

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader has declared April 8, 9, and 10, 2025, as days of official mourning following the tragic collapse at the Jet Set nightclub in the National District. The announcement was made through Decree 194-25.

According to Article 2 of the decree, the Dominican flag will be flown at half-mast on all military precincts and public buildings across the country during the mourning period, in honor of the victims of the tragedy.
