41-year-old Costa Rican woman is the 226th victim of collapse in the Jet Set

A 41-year-old woman is the 226th victim of the tragedy that occurred early Tuesday morning at the Jet Set, while merenguero Rubby Pérez was animating a party.

The information was released by the National Health Service (SNS) through a press release, without specifying the identity of the lady.

The Costa Rican woman was admitted to the Marcelino Vélez Santana Hospital, after being injured in the collapse of the roof of the Jet Set nightclub.

The 41-year-old woman would have undergone surgery on Friday. She was admitted in critical condition to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The tragedy occurred after 12:44 a.m. on Tuesday, while merenguero Rubby Pérez was animating a party at the nightclub. Pérez is also one of the fatalities.

Among the deceased are also former major league players Octavio Dotel and Tony Blanco, as well as the governor of Monte Cristi, Nelsy Cruz.
