Antonio Espaillat says 510 people were present at Jet Set

Santo Domingo.- Businessman Antonio Espaillat, owner of the Jet Set nightclub, stated that around 510 people were present at the venue during the tragic incident on April 8, including guests, staff, and musicians. He noted that the nightclub can hold up to 1,000 people during standing-room events organized by promoters.

His comments were made during an interview with journalist Edith Febles on the morning TV program El Día. Meanwhile, RCC Media spokesperson María Elena Núñez previously reported that 459 people had attended the party that night. However, the Public Ministry later announced that the exact number of attendees remains unclear.

A source close to the investigation revealed that authorities have yet to receive key documents such as the ticket sales report, special guest list, and courtesy admissions provided to the performing artist, merengue singer Rubby Pérez, who tragically died during the event.
