Pipeline relocation to affect water service in Santo Domingo Norte
Santo Domingo.- The Santo Domingo Water and Sewer Corporation (CAASD) announced that several neighborhoods in Santo Domingo Norte will experience partial drinking water service from Thursday through Sunday due to the relocation of two major pipelines. This adjustment is necessary to facilitate ongoing construction of the overpass at the intersection of Hermanas Mirabal and Charles de Gaulle avenues.
Affected areas include Los Compadres, Barrio Nuevo, Villa Mella, Campechito, Nolasco, Gissel, Radiante, El Edén, Los Alcones, El Morro, Villa Laura, and Los Restauradores. The project is being carried out by construction firm JM in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works and CAASD technicians.
The intervention aims to reduce water loss caused by pipeline damage. CAASD has requested the public’s understanding for any inconvenience caused during the work period.

No mention of water truck locations for the affected barrios.
