Tragic accident on Baní–Ocoa highway leaves four dead

At least four people were killed and several others injured in a traffic accident Monday night on the Baní–Ocoa highway. The crash involved a bus from the municipality of Tamayo, which reportedly overturned or collided under still-unclear circumstances.

Emergency response teams from the 9-1-1 System, DIGESETT, and other relief agencies rushed to the scene to assist the victims. Authorities have not yet confirmed the total number of casualties, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.
