DKolor fails in 12 attempts to halt driver’s license bidding process
Santo Domingo.- The National Institute of Land Transit and Transport (Intrant) confirmed that the public bidding process for a new driver’s license issuance system remains on track, despite 12 unsuccessful legal attempts by the company DKolor SRL to halt it. Authorities have consistently ruled in favor of Intrant, affirming the process’s legality and transparency.
Of the 12 appeals filed by DKolor, five were dismissed by the High Administrative Court (TSA), while another was deemed inadmissible by the General Directorate of Public Procurement. Six additional appeals were processed and addressed within the required legal deadlines, all without impact on the continuation of the bidding.
The bidding is scheduled to proceed as planned, with proposals to be received on Friday, July 25, at 9:30 a.m. Intrant emphasized that the process upholds the principles of legality, free competition, and transparency outlined in the Dominican Republic’s public procurement laws.
