Artist Hiarcady Martínez to unveil mural in Tenares

Hermanas Mirabal, D.R.- A mural by artist Hiarcady Martínez, honoring Democratic Life, will be unveiled this Thursday, September 25, at 5:30 p.m. on Calle del Arte in Tenares. The unveiling commemorates the 62nd anniversary of the 1963 coup that overthrew President Juan Bosch, the first democratically elected leader after the dictatorship.

The artwork reflects the impact of Bosch’s overthrow on the country’s democratic development, expressed through Martínez’s vibrant artistic vision. The event is organized by the Provincial Council for Culture and Fine Arts in collaboration with the Tenares City Council.
