Dominican Republic showcases gastronomy and culture in France
France.- The Dominican Republic captivated audiences and strengthened its visibility in southern France during the vibrant cultural and commercial showcase “Flavors of the World 2025.” Consul General Ana Emilia Báez Santana emphasized that the fair offered an ideal platform to present the country’s rich culture, tourism appeal, artistic talent, and musical heritage, while also expanding business and investment prospects through meetings with international entrepreneurs.
A highlight of the event was the performance by the Dominican Ballet in Europe, directed by cultural manager Héctor Farías, who delivered an energetic display of Dominican folklore. Visitors enjoyed an immersive Dominican experience featuring traditional dishes, live music, tobacco, and Ron Barceló rum. With more than 900 attendees, the fair reaffirmed its reputation as a must-visit event for those seeking authentic cultural exchange. Each pavilion offered a unique sensory journey, inviting the public to explore diverse culinary traditions and engage with delegations from around the world.
