Chinese Colony gala marks Taiwan’s 106th anniversary

Santo Domingo.- The Chinese Colony Center in the Dominican Republic on Thurs. hosted a dinner for its nationals to celebrate the 106th anniversary of the founding of Taiwan.

Taiwan ambassador, Valentino Tang, Chinese Colony personalities, executives and business leaders of the Chinese-Dominican Chamber of Commerce, among others, attended the event held in a restaurant in the capital.

Guests at the event sang the anthems of the Dominican Republic and Taiwan, were treated to the artistic presentations and the traditional Lion Dance.
