Big Pappy Ortiz is 2nd-most voted for All-Star Game

New York.- Mookie Betts joined the trio of outfielders withthe most votes in the balloting for the American League All-Star Game, whereas Dominicanslugger David Ortiz is the second-most voted overall and tops for designatedbatters.

MLB.com reports that the results were tallied from the EsuranceBallot MLB All-Star Game 2016. The 87th All-Star Game will takeplace July 12 in San Diego’s Petco Park.

The voting will continue until June 30 at 11:59pm ET.
