Miami, US.- MSC Cruises debuts its latest ship, the MSC World America, in Miami, heralding the start of its Caribbean cruising season. Departing on April 12, 2025, the ship will embark on a 7-day maiden voyage.

Exploring both the eastern and western Caribbean, the MSC World America’s itinerary includes stops at captivating destinations such as Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; Roatan Island, Honduras; and the Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas.

Puerto Plata continues to solidify its status as an alluring Caribbean hotspot, drawing not only international tourists but also cruise liners that recognize the region’s beauty and potential.

Setting a new standard in eco-friendly cruising, the MSC World America is the first MSC Cruises ship in the US market to be powered by LNG (liquefied natural gas). Tailored specifically for North American guests, the vessel offers a blend of European design and American comfort, boasting a range of restaurants, bars, and unique experiences.

Rubén A. Rodríguez, president of MSC Cruises USA, expressed excitement about the ship’s arrival, stating, “There is no better place to welcome the MSC World America than the cruise capital of the world. We look forward to seeing her set sail from our state-of-the-art cruise terminal, built in partnership with Miami-Dade County and PortMiami”.
