Cap Cana announces major expansion at FITUR
Madrid, Spain.- Cap Cana is set to expand its tourism offerings with the addition of 1,300 new rooms, including 300 rooms in the upcoming luxury St. Regis hotel. This expansion, announced by CEO Jorge Subero Medina at FITUR, aims to solidify Cap Cana’s position as a leading international tourist destination. The new hotel is expected to open in early 2025, complementing the 600 rooms already operational in 2024.
Beyond its stunning beaches, Cap Cana is known for its unique lifestyle, blending Dominican culture, local cuisine, and diverse entertainment options such as sporting events, fishing tournaments, horse racing, and soccer. Subero also highlighted the growing global community within Cap Cana, with a school serving students from 27 nationalities.
The destination offers a wide range of attractions, including over 100 dining options, with five new restaurants opening last year. Cap Cana also features theme parks like Dorado Park, the region’s largest water park, and the Scape Park, which will introduce nighttime activities this year. With its expansion, Cap Cana continues to provide a distinctive Caribbean experience, combining luxury, culture, and adventure.
