Miches to be the Dominican Republic’s featured destination at Anato 2025
Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic will spotlight Miches as its main tourist destination at the Anato 2025 Tourism Showcase, announced Minister of Tourism David Collado. The decision is part of a strategy to strengthen the country’s presence in foreign markets while continuing to promote other destinations.
Anato 2025, one of Latin America’s most significant tourism events, will take place from February 26 to 28 in Bogotá, Colombia. The fair will host exhibitors from countries, including India, Italy, Turkey, Thailand, and China, as well as representatives from Colombia’s 32 departments. With an expanded exhibition space of 40,000 square meters—14% larger than the previous edition—the event expects around 54,000 professional visitors.
This year’s showcase will feature Brazil as the international guest destination and Santa Marta as Colombia’s highlighted location, celebrating its 500th anniversary. Anato 2025 will also include an enhanced version of “Anato Capacita,” offering workshops on marketing, e-commerce, digital training, and artificial intelligence to help industry professionals expand their business and investment opportunities.
