Arajet launches direct flights between Punta Cana and Orlando
Punta Cana.- Dominican airline Arajet continues its U.S. expansion with the launch of direct flights between Punta Cana (PUJ) and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) starting October 26, 2025. This new route builds on Arajet’s success in Miami and strengthens its presence in Florida, a strategic hub for tourism and the Dominican diaspora.
The route will operate three times a week—on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—offering travelers an affordable, direct connection to one of the Caribbean’s top destinations.
Arajet’s CEO, Víctor Pacheco Méndez, highlighted Orlando as a natural next step in their U.S. growth strategy, citing strong demand and community ties. The airline will operate the route using its modern Boeing 737 MAX fleet, known for fuel efficiency and comfort.
This expansion follows Arajet’s upcoming launch of a new Miami–Punta Cana route on June 4, further connecting U.S. travelers to both Punta Cana and Santo Domingo. Enabled by the Open Skies agreement between the U.S. and the Dominican Republic, Arajet now serves six U.S. cities: Boston, Chicago, Miami, New York, San Juan, and Orlando.

I was hoping it was Orlando, MCO.
They should do Fort Lauderdale next.
