Adompretur president strengthens ties with Toronto Tourism Office

Toronto, Canada.- Yenny Polanco Lovera, president of the Dominican Association of Tourism Press (Adompretur), completed an official mission to the Dominican Republic’s Tourism Promotion Office in Toronto, forging key partnerships and laying groundwork for future collaboration.
Polanco Lovera met with Mariel Herrera, director of the Toronto office, to review current efforts to showcase the Dominican Republic in Canada’s competitive travel market. She then joined journalist Jorge de Jesús Núñez and entrepreneur Melanio Ventura at Punta Cana Hous restaurant, where Ventura highlighted growing Canadian interest in Dominican destinations.
The agenda also included discussions with Danny Chevalier, president of CopropCanada, the Committee of Dominicans Resident in Canada. Chevalier praised Polanco Lovera’s visit for reinforcing professional and cultural bonds and opening doors to joint initiatives.
“These engagements mark a milestone in our relationship with the Canadian market,” Polanco Lovera said, noting support from Tourism Minister David Collado. She added that Adompretur will continue to position the Dominican Republic as a top choice for Canadian travelers through strategic partnerships and shared expertise.
