Punta Bergantín holds a public hearing to build four hotels in Villa Montellano
Puerto Plata, DR. — On Tuesday, July 29, the Punta Bergantín Trust held a public hearing in the community of Villa Montellano, Puerto Plata, where it presented the progress of the hotel development project.
During the event, details were revealed of four new tourist properties that will be part of this vital development hub: Hotel Jardines del Ámbar Bergantín, Hotel Vista del Atlántico Bergantín, Hotel Valle Esmeralda Bergantín, and Hotel Costa Dorada Bergantín.
The presentations included information on architectural design, environmental impact, job creation, and the direct and indirect benefits they will bring to the economic and social development of Montellano and its surrounding areas.
The event brought together community residents, local leaders, representatives of social organizations, and media outlets from across the northern region, who were able to learn firsthand about the progress and features of these new buildings.
The Punta Bergantín Trust emphasized that these types of meetings are part of its commitment to transparency, community participation, and respect for local identity.
“For us at Punta Bergantín, publicizing every detail of the project and the initiatives within it is a fundamental part of our commitment to local identity, because Montellano is the raw material for these achievements. This project cannot be conceived without its people, its culture, and its history,” said Andrés Marranzini, director of the Trust.
