Hyatt highlights strong demand from Colombian travelers to the Dominican Republic
Santo Domingo.- Cristóbal Enríquez , VP of development for the Hyatt Inclusive Collection , said, “We continue to see a strong trend of U.S. and Canadian travelers across the Inclusive Collection portfolio in family-friendly destinations like the Dominican Republic and Mexico , as well as new destinations like St. Lucia and Aruba.”
“Occupancy levels are an estimate, which includes both made and planned reservations. Occasionally, occupancy levels may fluctuate based on late bookings and cancellations,” he explained, according to REPORTUR.co.
He said, “Colombian travelers remain an important demographic for Inclusive Collection resorts, and we continue to see a strong trend of travelers from Colombia visiting key markets like the Dominican Republic and Mexico.”
He added, “International markets continue to be the largest traveler to Inclusive Collection resorts, with Mexican tourists also a strong trend, with many traveling to both well-known destinations like Cancun and smaller destinations frequented by locals, such as Mazatlan and Huatulco.”
Enríquez reported that “Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection resorts remain committed to caring for our community and the natural environment. They continue to work to ensure responsible beach management, which currently includes the regular removal of sargassum that has accumulated due to seasonal weather variations. These cleanup efforts are being carried out to ensure our valued guests enjoy a comfortable environment.”
“We have not experienced any cancellations directly related to sargassum, and at Inclusive Collection resorts, we are working diligently to maintain the experience guests have come to know and expect when visiting our resorts,” he added.
