Dominican developer unveils ‘regenerative’ tourism vision for Miches at international congress
Santo Domingo.- Developer and entrepreneur George Alexander Nader, CEO of Nader Enterprises, has unveiled a strategic vision for Maralda, a new “regenerative” tourism destination in Miches. Presented at the 10th Latin American Real Estate Congress (CILA), the project is positioned as a solution to help the Dominican Republic’s tourism grow from 11 million to 20 million visitors in the next decade.
Nader explained that the “tourist of the future” is purpose-driven, seeking authentic experiences and a positive community impact. The Maralda project, spanning over 8 million square meters in Playa Esmeralda, is designed to meet this demand.
The master plan includes a mix of residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, all structured under trusts for investor transparency and legal security. Additionally, the project is committed to inclusive development, dedicating a percentage of its sales to education and training for the youth of Miches through the Pa’lante Dominicana Foundation.
Nader called Maralda one of the region’s most visionary platforms, aimed at transforming Miches into the next great tourist hub of the Caribbean.
