CTSD and Unibe partner to strengthen tourism and train future professionals
Santo Domingo.- The Santo Domingo Tourism Cluster (CTSD) and Universidad Iberoamericana (Unibe) signed two agreements aimed at boosting tourism in the capital and providing practical training for students.
The first agreement enables Unibe students to undertake internships with CTSD member companies, giving them hands-on experience and the opportunity to contribute new ideas to Santo Domingo’s tourism sector. The second agreement tasks a group of students with developing a business plan to position Santo Domingo as the Gastronomic Capital of the Caribbean. The plan will involve restaurants, hotels, shopping centers, museums, and churches, along with marketing campaigns, road shows, and familiarization trips to attract national and international tourists.
Through these agreements, CTSD and Unibe reaffirm their commitment to innovation, professional training, and promoting Santo Domingo internationally, fostering tourism that generates pride, opportunities, and sustainable growth.
