Cabo Rojo Tourism Project presented to Canadian investors
Toronto, Canada.- The Cabo Rojo Tourism Development Project was presented to Canadian investors and business leaders in Toronto by Sigmund Freund, executive director of the Pro-Pedernales Trust, as a key component of the Dominican government’s new growth model. Speaking at the “Foreign Investment and Logistics in the Americas” breakfast, Freund emphasized that the project embodies a vision of sustainable and inclusive tourism aimed at generating opportunities for the entire southern region of the country.
The Minister of Public Administration also highlighted Cabo Rojo as a prime example of investment opportunities through public-private partnerships, showcasing the Dominican Republic’s competitive advantages, strategic projects, and favorable investment climate.
Freund underscored Cabo Rojo’s unique attributes for investors, including the potential for developing hotels, theme parks, and other tourist attractions, as well as opportunities for air connectivity with Canadian airlines through charter, seasonal, or direct flights to Cabo Rojo International Airport.
